Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, better known as Katy Perry (born October 25, 1984, Santa Barbara, California, USA) is a singer, guitarist and songwriter. She was raised as the daughter of two evangelical ministers, grew up listening to gospel music and sang in church as a child.
